Mine seems to really enjoy doses of fish fertilizer or seaweed water and have been in the ground for at least a year so you probably have some time before you have to fertilize I think.

cool.  they are growing VERY slowly.

How's the mimosa doing now?

well, it grew very slowly all summer.  it just got repotted.  was in a store bought cactus mix..  now in a larger clay pot with 1/3 worm castings, 1/3 verm, 1/3 cactus mix & some kelp.  i'll have to wait and see how it responds.
