Hey guys  Im looking to get a few recommendations for plants to house in my apartment.

I am considering p.viridus as one of my plants.

Any suggestions?

I would go with:

Lophophora williamsii (Peyote) and other Lophophora sp.
Salvia divinorum
Trichocereus pachanoi (San Pedro)

Psychotria viridis is a very slow grower in the best of circumstances. If you absolutely have to have a Psychotria for indoors I would go with Psychotria alba as it grows much faster and is more forgiving. If you still have to have P. viridis... go with P. Nexus or another hybrid of P. viridis. You can also shape Psychotria alba easier as well creating a nice miniature bush due to its faster growing speed. With that said, I'd much prefer you listen to Roach as his recommendations are spot on in every way you could want.
For those that graft...

Not plants, but don't forget the mushrooms!

Lab analysis of 9 separate P. alba samples show they do not contain the desired alkaloid profile. Best to stick with viridis or nexus, if going that route, however these plants are picky and a suitable environment requires both high humidity and extensive fresh air exchange which can be hard to balance outside a tropical environment.

We are still waiting for someone to try Psychotria in a hydro/aero/aqua-ponics setup.

We would also recommend Trichocereus bridgesii as a starter cacti over T. pachanoi or T. peruvianus due to significant misrepresentation of the latter two in the online marketplace.
