HeLlo. I am glad to see a forum featuring Anne. I am glad to see she is ok (she is ok). My name is tecnikal, I am a time traveler and interested in novel cactus systems.
I appreciate Annes recent version of hydroperes, and I even read some guy on here saying "hydroskiopsis", I love it. To introduce myself proper, I will share an old hydro system inspired some of my interactions with Anne a few years ago. I have since backed off HTTL, but I am starting back up.
Hydroskiopsis Is the name I coined for my version of the hydroponic pereskiopsis, inspired by Anne.
excellent....all the luv tek.
it appears we have a hydro cacti rally point here.
im most pleased.
although im associated with the hydro grafts,
i also play with dirt sometimes.
what important is we have versatility and a range of skills for growing.
different growers different needs at different times.
a apt grower, or a grower with limited resources,
may do well with a hydro shelf garden for a good boost start.
more advanced growers may prefer larger hydro systems.
growers may build up a hydro phorest, then take breaks by rooting to dirt.
combo dirt and hydro phorests allow for for alot of options.
options of time space and energy , depending.
hydro can grow lophs up to golf ball easy and fast,
but at some point, the graft has limits.........
presently, were working on a way to get around those limits.
soon we shall publish that.....
welcome tek, lets see some more pics!
